This gluten-free baked oatmeal comes together in one bowl and makes the perfect easy meal prep for breakfast, no matter if you want baked oatmeal for one or the whole family.
This gluten-free baked oatmeal is one of my favorite recipes to make when the schedules get busy. I am not a huge fan of overnight oat recipes. I prefer my oatmeal baked. What I love about these gluten-free baked oats is that they are just as easy to make as overnight oats for making ahead of time but the flavor and texture are so much better.

Are oats gluten-free?
The short answer is yes - non-contaminated, pure oats are gluten-free and safe for most people who have a gluten intolerance to enjoy.
The main issue that comes into play while eating oats on a gluten-free diet is cross-contamination. Most commercial oats are processed in facilities that also process gluten-containing products with wheat, barley, and rye ingredients. The gluten in these ingredients then contaminates the facility, and the oats then become contaminated. Even though the amount of gluten in these can be very minimal, it can still cause issues for those who need to be completely gluten-free.
Gluten-free oats are widely available, and they are among the least expensive gluten-free grains to buy. Personally, I love using Bob's Red Mill gluten-free oats in recipes.
