Prep serving side dish.
Start your rice or cauliflower rice, so it is ready.
2 Cups Rice or Cauliflower Rice
Slice and prepare the steak.
Thinly slice the flank steak into strips.
1 Pound Flank Steak
Dust the sliced steak with a little bit of corn starch.

Let the steak rest while you prepare the broccoli and the gluten-free stir fry sauce.
Cook the broccoli.
Chop and cook the broccoli to your liking. You can steam or roast it. If you prefer to cook the broccoli with the beef, see the steps below.
1 Pound Broccoli
Make the gluten-free stir fry sauce.
Combine the sesame oil, ginger, garlic, beef stock, brown sugar, gluten-free soy sauce, and corn starch into a small bowl. Add the red pepper flakes if you want a little extra heat.
1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil, 2 Teaspoons Minced Ginger, 3 Cloves Minced Garlic, ⅓ Cup Gluten-free Soy Sauce, ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar, 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch, ½-½ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Make the gluten-free beef and broccoli.
Heat your wok or skillet to medium-high heat.
If you prefer to cook your broccoli with the steak, add it with a little bit of extra sesame oil and let it cook for about 4-5 minutes, and then remove it before adding your steak.
Add the sesame oil and steak to the skillet and let it cook till it's almost done. Depending on the size of your skillet, you might need to work in batches to make sure you are not overcrowding your pan.
2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil, 1 Pound Flank Steak
Pour the gluten-free stir fry sauce over the steak once the steak is almost fully cooked.
Allow the gluten-free sauce to thicken over the steak.
Return the broccoli to the pan and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serve your gluten-free beef and broccoli warm over your favorite rice or cauliflower rice, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, and enjoy!
