Milk Heavy Cream Sugar Eggs Peppermint Extract Crushed Peppermint Candy Red Food Color (optional)


Simmer the cream and sugar together until the sugar is dissolved.

Whisk together the eggs and milk.

Whisk the warm cream mixture into the eggs and milk

Add the peppermint extract and the coloring if you are using it.

Cover the ice cream base and let it chill for an hour.

Add the base to an ice cream maker if you are using one.

Once churned fold in the crushed peppermint candy and place it in the freezer to fully set.

And it's ready!
